Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

The purpose of our Group Communications Manager role is to lead and develop the Communications function for Jardine Motors Group and ensure world-class delivery of the internal comms strategy in support of the wider business plan.

Improve existing, and create new, communications channels to successfully reach all of our audiences, using a mix of print, digital and live events.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, up to and including the Board of Directors.

Work with the Group Marketing and Commercial teams to support any communications activity needed on group-wide projects and campaigns.

Work with the Group HR team to continually evaluate and improve all colleague touchpoints ie onboarding, reviews, exit etc.

Work closely with external agencies to ensure maximum exposure of the internal/external comms crossover where possible

Lead key event and conference activites

Deliver annual employee survey including temperature checks, staying abreast of relevant industry changes and best practice for timely colleague feedback to measure engagement.

Manage and develop our charitable partnership with Whizz-Kidz to maintain awareness throughout the business, encouraging fundraising where possible.

Promote and continually look for ways to endorse values-led behaviour through reward and recognition.

Lead and develop the Group Communications team

Experience required

Highly experienced within a similar internal communications role, preferably in a fast paced, corporate environment

Board level stakeholder experience, specifically at Director and Senior Management level

Extensive experience in all standard internal communications channels, ie Print, digital, social and display, as well as events and conference management experience.

Able to display excellent workload management and able to prioritise effectively

Previous experience of leading/managing a team and some budget responsibility

Full UK driving licence and happy to travel throughout England
