Now we are looking for a communications professional with an impressive CV to become a central member of the European communications leadership team and drive strategy and execution for all AkzoNobel UK communications.
As Head of Integrated Communications you will manage the team delivering internal and external corporate communications as well as oversee public affairs engagement. This will include stakeholder relations with government and handling business and financial media.
You will also manage the relationship with our PR agency. We will look to you to support and contribute to our global communications strategy, by developing and executing local external communications plans and activities that reflect business priorities to support all AkzoNobel businesses.
You will design locally relevant tactics for corporate, brand and product communications activities in conjunction with Global Communications colleagues. You will also provide senior counsel to business leaders in the UK and manage a high performing team with the capability to strengthen and protect the reputation and brands in the UK. You will be playing an important role in developing a world-class global communications function, establishing it as strategic-business-partner within the organisation.
