Job Title: Internal Communications Lead

Location: Leavesden, North Watford, WD25 7GR

Responsible for all Customer Care Internal Communications, Engagement and Events – delivering exceptional experiences to over 1500 people consistently 24/7, 365.

We create the tools and provide insights to empower our people to be their own ambassadors in creating an informed and engaged workforce, whilst creating memorable moments that make ASOS truly special; measured by ESAT to enable us to continually evolve and grow in line with the departmental requirements

The Role:

        Responsible for driving all internal communications within Customer Care to various stakeholders from entry level positions, all the way up to SMT (Senior Management Team)

        Responsible for using a variety of internal communications channels

        Responsible for ensuring Customer Care is included within company-wide communications where appropriate

        Responsible for keeping the ASOS TOV up to date and consistent throughout Customer Care communications

        Responsible for measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of communication and engagement activities to ensure continuous improvement

        Responsible for keeping Customer Care up to date with industry standard forms of communication


        Writing and designing department-wide emails, Internal social media posts, intranet articles, digital screen content, surveys and weekly pre-shift brief packs

        Repurposing content from other departments to inform and educate Customer Care employees

        Making informed decisions on the timing and appropriateness of content

        Helping to build and update a robust rollout plan to ensure all key messages reach the intended stakeholders

        Driving a culture where two-way feedback is seen as fundamental to the department

        Supporting the CC Internal Communications Team Lead to develop internal campaigns where necessary

        Being the voice of the department for all updates, ensuring timely, quality, audience-appropriate content reaches our people

Necessary Experience:

        Ability to handle highly confidential information

        Excellent organisation skills, along with attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure

        Prioritising a complex workload under pressure

        Previous Internal Communications experience

        Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere

        Knowledge of communications channels including, intranet, social media, email and video

        Ability to take complex information and create clear concise articles relevant to the audience

Desired Experience:

        Experience working with senior stakeholders

        Education in editorial related discipline

        Experience landing key messages using multi-channels
