We’re looking for a Communications Engagement Manager to come on board and take responsibility for the Technology Engagement and Communications team and support the Technology department, Technology Leaders and the CIO.

You’ll lead the design, delivery and management of communication and engagement solutions and interventions across Technology. What You’ll Be Doing

Strategy & Planning, partnering with the People Team…

  • Facilitate the development of and engagement in a coherent vision and strategy for Technology
  • Develop and evolve the Technology communication and engagement strategy and plan
  • Input into the development and management of an integrated Technology change management strategy and plan, partnering with the Technology Change and People Team, as appropriate
  • Support the business to inform, inspire & motivate colleagues around our story & help build the Technology culture

Branding, partnering with the People Team…

  • Develop and embed the Technology brand and employee value brand proposition
  • Launch and promote the Technology brand narrative
  • Support and input into the development and alignment of the Technology external brand, events/engagement plan and Technology Ambassador network
  • Communication & Engagement, partnering with the People Team…
  • Lead the communication of internal Technology initiatives and events, managing time and resources, and the sequencing of communication effectively
  • Understand our channel strategy and use this effectively in communication planning and embedding the ASOS communication channels
  • Promote firm initiatives and events such as, diversity and inclusion, innovation and the ambassador network
  • Track, measure and enhance the effectiveness of communication and engagement solutions and interventions

Employee Experience

  • Develop and support Technology pre-boarding and on-boarding initiatives and activities
  • Support the embedding of People Experience Team initiatives
  • Technology Office Team
  • Act as the key point of contact for Technology communication and engagement
  • Partner with the Technology Change Manger and People Team as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with the Technology Leadership Team, Technology community and other relevant Technology stakeholders
  • Play an active role in the successful deployment and embedding of the Technology Office Team and structure
  • Carry out knowledge management activities: identifying, controlling and storing any pertinent information, and maintaining knowledge items to ensure that they are current, relevant and valid
  • Ensure that all Technology Office activities are performed at a consistently high standard with minimal risk to ASOS

  • A thoughtful and sensitively designed Technology communication and engagement strategy and plan which fully understands and responds to the needs of the Technology community
  • The successful shaping, delivery and embedding of Technology communication and engagement solutions and interventions
  • Measurable successes underpinned by analytics of communication and engagement interventions
  • Good working relationships across the Technology Leadership Team and Technology community
  • Adopting a partnership approach by working in collaboration with the People Partners and other relevant stakeholders
  • Awareness, connection and collaboration with external communication and engagement experts and external cutting-edge developments within the communication and engagement field

We’d Like To Meet Someone With

  • Communications experience with exposure to delivering communications strategy, channels, senior stakeholder engagement in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Communication, engagement and branding knowledge and experience, combined with a pragmatic and commercial mind-set
  • Track record in delivering successful communication and engagement change projects and supporting major organisational change
  • Experience of, and commitment to, continuous organisation improvement and the ability to act as a change agent
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, particularly senior stakeholders
  • Effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to (personal, team and organisational) deadlines
  • Ability to engage, conduct diagnosis, analyse findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions
  • Preference for communication and engagement consulting experience with other similar private sector organisation
  • Preference for experience working with large technology organisations
